On the road again...

Hey everybody!  There's no new epsiode of the AA Hour this week because I hit the road to load up on audio for future shows.

But here's a peek at what's to come in the next few months:

-In two episodes, we head back to S.F.'s North Beach for not one, but two different classic bars: Gino & Carlo and LaRocca's Corner

-I'll introduce you to a fascinating man: a full-blooded Sioux Indian, a Marine Corps vet that survived the worst battle of the Korean War, a former football player for Oklahoma State, a professor at UC Berekley, a major part of the Ameican Indian Movement, and a one-time bouncer at some of San Francisco's Broadway bars

-We'll visit a great bar in Austin called the Mean Eyed Cat, dedicated to the late legend, the Man in Black, Johnny Cash

-I'll take you to "The City of the Dead", Colma, CA, where we'll hit Molloy's Road House, and discuss the phenomenon of the Irish Wake

-We'll go to downtown Austin and hit the hippest bar on 6th Street's entertainment strip, The Jackelope

-We're heading to San Antonio to visit the Buckhorn Saloon, a hangout for Teddy Roosevelt and his Rough Riders

-We'll learn about Tequila from one of the ambassadors of the fine liquor, Julio Bermejo. And we'll talk to his dad, Tommy, about his restaurant in S.F.'s Richmond District

Looking forward to a great 2010 for all of us!  Cheers! Prosit! Cent'Anni! Salute! Skoal!

-Den
