"Hair of the Dog"

"Louie Mueller's Barbecue, Taylor, TX"

The AA Hour is back, and this time we're heading for one of the legendary joints on the Texas BBQ Trail- Louie Mueller's in Taylor. Since 1940's they've been serving up brisket, sausage, ribs and the like, all slow cooked over oak fires in brick pits. I'll sample some of the most delicious smoked meats I have ever tasted, and of course, wash it down with some ice cold Texas brewed beer. Hope y'all enjoy it!

"White Horse Tavern, NYC"

New York City's Bohemian culture was born in Lower Manhattan's Greenwich Village. Once a workingman's low-rent neighborhood, it now is gentrified, but the Beat Generation soul lives on. Join me as we visit the legendary White Horse Tavern, once home to poets, folksingers, writers, and more recently, to a fairly-intoxicated AA Hour host (yes, I'm talking about me.)

"Lombardi's Pizza, NYC"

At the turn of the last century, New York City's Lower East Side was the destination for immigrants from all over Europe. On the corner of Spring and Mott Streets, in what is left of Little Italy, you'll find the home of the oldest pizzeria in the United States, Lombardi's. Join me as we dig into an amazing coal-fired pie, and fittingly, have a pint of the oldest beer brewed in America as well.
